Final day of Wrestling

Today our wrestling season came to an end. We did leave Redwood with a 4th place finisher. Congratulations Brian your 4th place finish. Our season just came to an end, we will be saying good bye to our seniors:

We also would like to Congratulate Coach Clark on his 2009 Section 4A Assistant Coach of the Year. Way to go BC.

Friday Section Individ @ Redwood Falls

We finished our first day of wrestling. We do not have anyone in the winners bracket, but we do have a couple of guys working their way back up. The wrestlers still going are:

JV Tourn. Dassel Cokato

Saturday the JV traveled to Dassel-Cokato for an individual tournament. We had a good turn out.





We had two wrestlers come home with 1st place medals.

Minnesota River Conference

Last Friday, some of the Varsity Members traveled to LeSueur for the Conference Tournament. Our results were as follows:

• Nathan Amberg 3rd Place
• Jeff Whitney 2nd Place
• Mike Schwitenburg 3rd Place

Brian Stoks also was voted to the All-Conference team. Good Job Brian.

9th Grade State Tourn

Today we had the 9th Grade State Tournament. We did well. We brought home 3rd and 4th place medals along with more experience under our belts.

Grant Mueller did great.

He lost his first match 4-2 to Patrick Rooney.

He wrestled Jake Toedter and lost 8-4 match.

Youth in Belle Plaine

On Sunday, the Jr Raiders wrestled in a tournament with Belle Plaine and Jordan. We ended up taking 2nd Place.
